“there’s a conspiracy of boring, which is all about drawing attention to limitations. It terrorises people into saying ‘we can’t do this or that, because it’ll be breaking the rules.”
Professor Sir Peter Cook, founder of Archigram (who was awarded the Royal Gold Medal from RIBA), former Director of the Institute for Contemporary Art, London, and Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London, has been a pivotal figure within the global architectural world for over half a century. Peter has built worldwide, in 2007, he was knighted by the Queen for his services to architecture. Peter’s continuing lecture and architecture works makes him a familiar voice internationally, where many have enjoyed an opportunity to hear Peter expound (among other subjects) upon his love affair with the slithering, the swarming and the spooky.
