We invite you to join us at ARHITEKTA FORUM #5: REURBANIZATION, where we will explore how cities are being renewed from within — through space, systems, and everyday habits.

Why Reurbanization?

Beyond trends and individual projects, reurbanization is a bold architectural statement on how we repair the urban fabric: density, mixed-use, mobility, public space, and accessibility. It is social, ecological, and deeply operational. In an era of climate pressure, housing crises, and infrastructure that lags behind our needs, how can architects restore scale, resilience, and the public interest to design.

At this gathering, we are opening the floor for ideas that go beyond the drawing board.

We are talking about how to:

— Transform public space into a vital network of life, rather than just the leftovers between buildings;
— Ensure streets are safe and functional for pedestrians, cyclists, and public transit;
— Deliver 15-minute neighborhoods: with schools, parks, services, and culture all within reach;
— Turn green infrastructure into a functioning system (shade, water, biodiversity), not just decoration;
— Make planning transparent and urban development measurable through quality of life.

The key question:

How do we renew the city so that tomorrow is easier to live in — and not just easier to build?
